Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's wife in Friendsthe initial episode. She left the show as she wanted to pursue the role full-time. was substituted by Jane Sibbett. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995-1996) as well as in The War at Home between 2005 and the year 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone is also credited from television, including Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2004 for her role in the feature film One Last Ride.
