Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish, born 7 August 1982 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actress. Cornish is known best for her film roles as Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for the film she co-directed with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) as well as the film Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). In the latter film, Cornish won her first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her father. Ann McDonough played the mother. Betty Gilpin's parents remained supportive and encouraged her to pursue a career as an actress. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin learned to be an actor. Gilpin began acting Off-Broadway while she tried out for roles on film and TV. Gilpin was able to land a tiny role on Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). In addition, she appeared on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. Gilpin was able to land a variety of TV guest appearances in the following years, until her breakout moment came in 2013, when she was chosen to be the main character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, played in 34 episodes on Nurse Jackie prior to the series closed on June 15 the 15th of June, 2015. Gilpin also appeared in the crime thriller True Story (2015).
