Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My wonderful fiance JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our clan. Most people are familiar with me from my Instagram @annephung. I document my life - highs, lows, and all in between. When I was just 1 1/2 years old My family and I moved into America. If it wasn't for the hard work of my parents, I wouldn't exist today to share my life with you. Given the chance to live an improved life I was determined to try the best I could to please them, and was focused on my success. In my mind, I had a plan for my future. Attend college, and graduate. Get married. Purchase a home. Have kids. While I believed this was the standard for success, life had different strategies. The year 2013 was the year I began dreading going to my corporate job. The money and the status was not bringing me joy- I felt that I was throwing my life away to earn a living when I knew I was destined for something more. When I started to take steps toward a new direction in my life, I realized that I was a personal trainer and what I wanted to do. I'm a sucker for fitness, and I love being around people and helping people. My business started in 2014, and I'll be celebrating my 7th year of business success this year, 2021. As a Asian woman in the industry, there are very many of us. My mission in this field is to create a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle that can meet the demands of my customers. Also, I want everyone to be able to pursue their goals and accomplish whatever they want in life. As I started my career, the death of my mom was the most devastating loss to me. The eight years she fought battle with the disease. Then she's in Heaven, and I remain close to her in my heart. It is possible to learn from life, even though we might not be able to recognize it right now. My loss has impacted my life in many different ways. I believe her passing gave me the opportunity to begin the next chapter. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. It was now time to go on to her next chapter and my chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. In my 30s, I have a sense that I am alive and living. It's not as if I'm just a mere existence anymore. In sharing the tale of my journey, it's to ensure that other people are able to relate to my feelings and thoughts. To know that they're not on their own. It is also a sign of real love. Additionally, therapy is necessary and not uncommon. Finally that the health of your body is the most valuable thing you have. Because death is all there is in this world, I hope you enjoy your life and die without regrets.
